Julie H. Case is currently completing her first short story collection, "Stay." She earned her MFA in Creative Writing in 2007 from the low-residency Rainier Writing Workshop at Pacific Lutheran University. She is a native of Benzie County, Michigan, and an alumna of Interlochen Arts Academy and Arizona State University. She has been a featured poet in MetroKC’s Poetry on Buses, a finalist for the Annie Dillard Award for Creative Nonfiction, and has taught writing classes through Seattle’s Hugo House and Real Change. In September, she will be the fall Writer-in-Residence at Interlochen Arts Academy.
